THE ULTIMATE ROAD REPAIR SOLUTION
Plastasphalt® is a flexible road repair material composed of a mix of asphalt, chalk powder, and high-polymer materials, with special additives and quartz sand. This innovative hox mix asphalt product is created using Strassenflex's specialized equipment and technology.
Plastasphalt® can be used to repair road cracks, network cracks, alligator cracks, and potholes (with crushed gravel aggregate). It is compatible with various applications such as crack sealing, joint sealing, and cold patching. One material can meet multiple repair needs, making it a universal solution for road surface restoration.
Plastasphalt® requires no special preparation—no grooving, widening, or cleaning of cracks. Repairs can be done quickly, with roads reopening in 5-8 minutes (potholes in 30 minutes). It can be applied at temperatures above 0°C, making it ideal for cold weather.
Plastasphalt® can be applied with just a small truck and minimal equipment, allowing traffic to resume shortly after repair. This makes it perfect for busy areas where minimizing road closures is crucial.
1 ton of material consumption:
Oil/gas hot-melt kettle: 15kg of natural gas, 6 liters of diesel.
A four-person crew can repair 2500-4000 meters of cracks or 200-300 square meters of network cracks per day.
The material features excellent flowability, strong adhesion, and water-sealing capabilities, all while reducing construction costs.
35% less CO2 emission
Uses recycled tires for flexibility
No leftover plastic packaging
Recycled plastic bags
No heavy machinery required
Environmental Goals:
100% Recycled packaging
100% Recycled oil
Plastasphalt® is produced in accordance with German current environmental regulations. Its manufacturing and application processes are free from pollution. The rubber component is made from recycled tires, contributing to a reduction in tire waste, and there is no residual packaging waste.

Choose a hopper with a width of 5-30 cm according to the crack size.
Two workers will apply the heated Plastasphalt® into the hopper and slowly move along the crack, maintaining a width of 5-30 cm and a thickness of 3-4 mm, while ensuring good flowability until the crack is completely sealed. Adjust the application speed according to the crack depth to ensure enough material is injected into the crack.
Thoroughly dry the pothole and use a heat gun to remove moisture, ensuring the area is dry for repair.
Pour the heated Plastasphalt® into the bottom of the pothole. For deeper potholes, add 1-2 cm of aggregate layer by layer, applying the heated Plastasphalt® between layers until the repair is level with the original surface.

Pour the heated Plastasphalt® into the bottom of the pothole. For deeper potholes, add 1-2 cm of aggregate layer by layer, applying the heated Plastasphalt® between layers until the repair is level with the original surface.
Allow the repair to cool for about 5 minutes, then cover the surface with a hopper (10 cm or 30 cm wide) to seal the surface.
If the pothole depth is less than 2 cm, there is no need to add aggregate. Simply pour the heated Plastasphalt® until it is level with the original road surface and apply a surface seal.
