Plastasphalt® is applied at temperatures between 250°C and 280°C. The high-temperature melting process enables the material to bond effectively with both the damaged area and the existing asphalt, forming a double seal. This ensures superior adhesion to all known types of road surfaces.
The combination of rubber, oils, and bitumen in the material provides excellent flexibility, which helps mitigate stresses caused by factors such as settlement, weather conditions, and heavy traffic. Additionally, Plastasphalt® offers outstanding elasticity, tensile strength, and resistance to compression, wear, and weathering, making it an extremely durable and reliable solution for road repairs.
With its unique rubber, polymer, and quartz sand composition, the finished surface is exceptionally durable, lasting 3-5 times longer than traditional road repair materials such as crack sealants, joint sealing fabrics, and cold patch materials.
